Laura Hoemeke
Laura Hoemeke, DrPH, MPH, is a global health consultant and adjunct professor, University of North Carolina (UNC) Gillings School of Global Public Health. Hoemeke is a member of the board of directors of the Global Alliance for Surgical, Obstetric, Trauma and Anesthesia Care (G4 Alliance) and the principal of Hoemeke Global, Ltd., providing technical assistance in health policy, advocacy, and communications to ministries of health, governments, multilateral institutions, and foundations. She has worked and lived throughout Africa. Hoemeke received her BS in journalism at Northwestern University, her MPH at the Johns Hopkins University, and her doctorate in health policy and management at UNC.
