Luke Shors is a researcher, consultant and writer who focuses on global health and education. He is interested in topics such as evidence for public policy, health technologies and financing, climate and health, and science education. Luke holds a doctorate from the Harvard Graduate School of Education where he also was a fellow at the Harvard Center on Energy and the Environment. His dissertation research focused on metaphor and analogy in biology education. He has a joint MPH/MBA from Johns Hopkins University. Luke is the co-founder of the non-profit Tekano, a new international NGO focused on accelerating the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. He previously co-founded the augmented reality software company Praxik and was Senior Project Specialist at the American Institutes for Research. In his free time Luke enjoys playing frisbee, practicing tai chi and being with family.
