William A. Haseltine

William A. Haseltine is the chair and president of ACCESS Health International. Haseltine, PhD, is a scientist, businessman, philanthropist, and author. He is known for his pioneering work on cancer, HIV/AIDS, genomics, and global health. He was a professor at Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Public Health. He has founded many biotechnology companies and brought numerous drugs to market. His most recent book, Variants! The Shape-Shifting Challenge of COVID-19, explores SARS-CoV-2 viral variations and their potential impact on the course of the pandemic.
