Amber Peterman

Amber Peterman is an associate research professor of public policy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her work focuses on the intersection of gender and development, with an emphasis on social protection and gender-based violence. Peterman is a quantitative researcher and has collected large-scale data in over a dozen countries, published over fifty academic articles and consults for the United Nations and other stakeholders on gender and violence issues. Amber holds a PhD in public policy from UNC Chapel Hill.
