Sandra B. Munro

Sandra B. Munro joined IHME as a Publications Officer in the Local Burden of Disease in January of 2019. She has worked for more than 20 years in molecular biology and microbiology, including in collaboration with the U.S. Army and Air Force to develop detection technologies for biothreat agents, and as a Research Scientist at the University of Washington to develop clinical diagnostics for infectious diseases. She completed her PhD in Molecular Biology at McGill University, Montreal.
