Rumi Chunara

Rumi Chunara is an Assistant Professor at NYU, jointly appointed at the Tandon School of Engineering (in Computer Science) and the College of Global Public Health. Her research interests are in developing computational and statistical approaches for acquiring, integrating and using data to improve population-level public health. Prior to NYU she was an Instructor and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Boston Children's Hospital Informatics Program and Harvard Medical School. Her PhD is from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology.
