Lucien Swetschinski

Lucien Swetschinski, MSc, is a researcher and statistician who has worked on the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation’s Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) team since August 2020. As part of his work on AMR, Lucien has modelled case-fatality rates for specific bacteria and infectious syndromes and the prevalence of resistance for dozens of pathogen-antimicrobial combinations. Prior to joining the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, Lucien was earning his Master’s degree in environmental science at Yale University, where he studied the influence of childhood exposure to air pollution on adulthood earning outcomes and intergenerational class mobility.
