Agatha Aboe

Agatha Aboe, a long-time global health leader, played a pivotal role in the elimination of trachoma in Ghana, and provided technical assistance and training to support its elimination in Gambia. Aboe works with more than twenty countries to guide implementation of the WHO's global trachoma elimination SAFE strategy and partnerships among relevant sectors to ensure countries meet WHO requirements for validation.
