Tasnim Ahmed

Tasnim Ahmed is a fourth-year medical student at Stanford School of Medicine planning to pursue residency in internal medicine. She was born in Bangladesh and at a young age, moved to Queens, New York, where she grew up. Tasnim graduated from Harvard College with a degree in cognitive neuroscience and evolutionary psychology and completed a teaching fellowship in England following college. In medical school, Tasnim has taken part in global health research in Bangladesh around access to health care and most recently, was the 2021 Stanford Global Health Media Fellow. In her role as a fellow, she has published various articles for CNN, Medscape, and local publications on medicine, global health, and public health.
