Sandra Mullin

Sandra Mullin, MSW, is senior vice president for policy, advocacy and communication at the global health organization Vital Strategies. Mullin joined Vital Strategies in 2007. Under her leadership, she has established a global presence in policy and behavior change communication, bringing global attention to the world’s leading drivers of ill health, and promoting the adoption of life-saving policies in more than forty low- and middle-income countries and cities. In her previous twelve years in New York City government, she was communication director for the New York City Council, and before that, communications director with the New York City Health Department.  She is from London, United Kingdom, and Jamaica, and she lives in Brooklyn, New York.
