Denene Jonielle Rodney

Denene Jonielle Rodney is the founder and CEO of Zebra Strategies, a market research firm specializing in focus groups, in-depth interviews, street intercepts, ethnographies, online and social media research. Zebra Strategies serves as a beacon for multidisciplinary, full-service quantitative and qualitative research. With more than two decades of experience in the industry, Rodney has created a space wherein the nuances of one’s background—race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, education level, gender, orientation, and age—are taken into consideration and appreciated. Rodney also serves as an adjunct professor at Monroe College and works with Columbia Business School to aid formerly incarcerated people to succeed in re-entry to society. Rodney has her master's degree from New York University and her bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Communications.
