Rohina Joshi

Associate Professor Rohina Joshi is a Scientia Fellow at the Faculty of Medicine, University of New South Wales, Sydney Australia and a Senior Research Fellow at The George Institute for Global Health. She was awarded a Future Leader Fellowship from the Australian National Heart Foundation. Associate Professor Joshi is a public health physician who works on developing low-cost healthcare models for chronic disease management in resource-limited settings. Her research interests include strengthening health systems using task-sharing between physician and non-physician health workers to deliver quality health care in resource poor settings; and improving health information systems in low and middle income countries using verbal autopsy.
