Nezar N. Al-Hebshi

​​​​​​​Nezar N. Al-Hebshi is a Yemeni Dentist and Oral Microbiologist. He obtained his PhD in Oral Microbiology in 2005 from the University of Bergen, Norway. He held faculty and research positions in Yemen and Saudi Arabia between 2006 and 2015, before moving to the United States where he joined Temple University as an associate professor and co-director of the Oral Microbiome Research Laboratory. His research focuses on the oral microbiome, and is funded by the National Institutes of Health and the Pennsylvania Department of Health. He has over forty international publications.
