Michael Suk

Michael Suk, MD, JD, MPH, MBA is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and longtime leader in American Medical Association (AMA) governance. He serves as immediate past chair of the AMA Board of Trustees and is chair of The Joint Commission’s Board of Commissioners; previously, he held senior academic and executive roles at Geisinger Health System. A White House Fellows Program alumnus under George W. Bush, he’s recognized for innovation (including a “lifetime warranty” for total joint replacement) and for bridging clinical, legal, business, and policy perspectives to drive change.
