Kasra Zarei is a member of the Physicians for Human Rights student advisory board, a MD/PhD student, and a science and global health writer who has published in Scientific American, Slate, Wired, STAT, Undark, Science, and other publications. He was a 2020 AAAS Mass Media fellow at the Philadelphia Inquirer.
