Hansani Madushika Abeywickrama, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Graduate School of Health Sciences at Niigata University. She holds a BS in nursing and an MS in food and nutrition from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and a PhD in Health Sciences from Niigata University, Japan. Her research is centered on public health and nutrition, with a specific focus on migrant health and the nutritional status of vulnerable populations, and she is also engaged in conducting systematic review studies.
