Graziano Onder

Graziano Onder, is director of the department of cardiovascular, endocrine-metabolic diseases and aging, Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS - Italian National Istitute of Health). He leads the national group of COVID-19 related deaths at the ISS.  Dr. Onder has previously worked as an associate professor in geriatrics at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Rome and as a research associate at the J. Paul Sticht Center on Aging, Wake Forest University, Winston Salem, North Carolina. He led several projects funded by public and private institutions including the Italian Ministry of Health and the European Commission. He is author of more than 300 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
