Erin Gallagher is a Research Associate for Japan Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and East Asian Languages and Civilizations in 2018, and she earned a master’s degree in East Asian Languages and Civilizations in 2019.
