Cynthia Waliaula

Cynthia Waliaula is a dedicated health-care professional with extensive experience in research, project management, and health policy. With over five years of experience in the health-care industry, she has worked in both clinical medicine and policy-making. Her passion for health care led her to work with women with disabilities in Kenya to enact sexual and reproductive health policies. She recently worked with the University of Oxford, Blavatnik School of Government, where she monitored the pandemic response to COVID-19 worldwide. Cynthia holds a bachelor's degree in medicine and surgery (MBCHB) from the University of Nairobi and a master's degree in global health and development from University College London. Currently, she works as a policy analyst at Amref Health Africa's Universal Health Coverage Lab, where she continues to use her skills and experience to advance healthcare policies and systems.
