Cindy Groff Vindman

Cindy Sue Groff Vindman, Ph.D., is a geneticist by training. She earned her doctorate from the University of Georgia, Athens. Dr. Vindman's graduate and postdoctoral work focused on telomere structure, genomic stability, and cellular aging. She has held academic positions at the University of Maryland Global Campus, James Madison University, and the University of Georgia. She has previously served as a scientific advisor to a three-star command, a vice council for science and innovation for the British Consulate, and lead scientist for PM Soldier Clothing & Individual Equipment. Currently Dr. Vindman is a captain (CPT) in the U.S. Army Reserves Command and serves as the biomedical portfolio lead for the 75th Innovation Command.
