Onyekachi C. Subah

Onyekachi C. Subah is the director of Liberia’s National Blood Safety Program. A general medical doctor and a specialist in transfusion medicine and Maternal Child Health, she is also a trained laboratory coordinator. Subah brings deep expertise in public health, with a focus on epidemic and pandemic preparedness and response. She has played a pivotal role in strengthening Liberia’s health systems, particularly in laboratory services and blood transfusion services. Her work spans both clinical and policy domains, contributing to sustainable improvements in national health security and service delivery infrastructure.
