Mathias Koenig-Archibugi

Mathias Koenig-Archibugi is an associate professor of global politics at the London School of Economics and Political Science, as a joint appointment of the Department of Government and the Department of International Relations. One strand of his research examines how global issues are governed today, specifically in the areas of global health and workers’ rights. He also has a long-standing interest in the relationship between democracy and global politics, with another strand of his research exploring the desirability and feasibility of democratizing global governance institutions. His work on these topics has been published in the British Journal of Political Science, European Journal of International Relations, European Journal of Political Research, International Organization, International Studies Quarterly, Journal of Politics, Philosophy and Public Affairs, Social Science and Medicine, World Development, World Politics, and other journals.
