Jean-Vivien Mombouli is a virologist in the Republic of Congo who has advised governments across Central and West Africa on managing Ebola and other outbreak responses. He advised Guinea’s national Ebola response during the 2014–16 West African epidemic and previously directed research at the Laboratoire National de Santé Publique in Brazzaville.
