Héctor Castro

Héctor Castro is a senior technical director with nonprofit global health organization Management Sciences for Health, and its global lead for infectious diseases, financing, technologies, data, and impact. He is the Latin America Policy Forum Chair for Health Technology Assessment International, was founding Chief Executive Director of the HTA Institute of Colombia, and Director of Medicines and Technologies at Colombia’s Ministry of Health and Social Protection. He has an MSc in Health Policy, Planning, and Financing from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a DrPH from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
