Damian Santomauro

Damian Santomauro is a senior research fellow for the Policy and Epidemiology Group (PEG) based at the Queensland Centre for Mental Health Research (QCMHR). He is also an affiliate assistant professor at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME), University of Washington, for his work on the Global Burden of Disease Study where he is responsible for the severity analysis, and the epidemiological modeling of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, conduct disorder, eating disorders, and bullying victimization. Dr Santomauro is also responsible for modeling the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on mental disorder prevalence globally. Dr. Santomauro has a keen interest in statistics and research methodology and currently acts as PEG's resident
