Comfort Ogar

Comfort Ogar is a principal technical advisor with nonprofit global health organization Management Sciences for Health, where she supports low- and middle-income countries in Africa and Asia to establish or strengthen existing medicines monitoring systems. A pioneer of active pharmacovigilance in Africa, she worked as a regulator for almost 20 years at Nigeria’s National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), where she was instrumental in establishing the country's national pharmacovigilance system. She has an IMPH from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem and is completing a master's degree in Global Health Delivery at Harvard Medical School.
