Christopher Kalila

Christopher Kalila is a medical doctor and senior Zambian legislator with more than 17 years of experience in public health and governance. He entered politics in 2008 and has held key leadership roles, including deputy minister of health and chair of Zambia's Parliamentary Committee on Health. He currently serves as Africa regional cochair of the Global TB Caucus and chair of the Zambian TB Caucus, where he leads efforts to mobilize political leadership and financing for tuberculosis elimination across Anglophone countries. Kalila remains a respected advocate for health equity and sustainable development across Africa.
