Christopher J. Gerry, PhD, is the rector of the University of Central Asia (UCA) and dean of its Graduate School of Development. Prior to joining UCA, he was the head of the University of Oxford’s School of Global and Area Studies and full professor in public health and health economics of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
