Apoorva Jadhav is a demographer, reproductive health expert, and policy strategist with two decades of experience bridging the gap between complex technical data and large-scale global governance. Currently serving as a senior fellow at the Population Reference Bureau and a consultant for the William H. Gates Sr. Institute for Population and Reproductive Health at Johns Hopkins University, she specializes in translating critical trends—such as fertility shifts, population aging, and migration—into actionable frameworks for governments and international institutions.
Most recently, she served as the chief demographic expert at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), where she oversaw investments in global health surveys and censuses.
