Amitav Acharya

Amitav Acharya is Distinguished Professor of International Relations, and the UNESCO Chair in Transnational Challenges and Governance at the School of International Service at American University, in Washington DC. He is past President of the International Studies Association (2014-15). He is the author of two books: Books: The End of American World Order, and Why Govern? Rethinking Demand and Progress in Global Governance.
